#WIPpet Wednesday – March 28, 2018

Hello and welcome to WIPpet Wednesday, a blog hop wherein writers share an excerpt from their current WIP that somehow relates to the date.  To join in, simply click the blue linky up there to the right.

First off, just want to say that it is my intention that I visit your posts this week, and I should have time. But I am probably also going to be in a bit of flap doing last minute preparations before I head to Sydney on Sunday and fly to Nepal on Monday! So if you don’t see any sign of me, that is why!

But
onto the WIPpet. I’m using the same WIPpet math I did a fortnight ago: three paragraphs for the third month. Still at the carnival, but now Clara is hearing things.

Clara stopped short and looked around. The voice had been deep and gruff and quiet, but she had heard in nonetheless. But now that she looked around, she couldn’t tell where it had come from.

If we can find her, this is the perfect place to get her away from the Mages.

Clara whipped around. The voice was right next to her and yet no one was standing that close. People passed her by, but someone would have had to stop and whisper in her ear for her to have heard the whole statement.

Who does the voice belong to? Who is it referring to? Why is Clara hearing it? So many questions.

I’m going to see how I go; once I get back from Nepal, I may have time to start posting on both my blogs every Wednesday, at least for a while. But I’ll catch you again as soon as I can!
